Scout Program Terms

You can join if you are 18 or older, live in India, and have an IndianBL account that is at least a few days old. The exact account age is shown when you try to join.

One account per person, and one UPI ID per person. IndianBL staff (editors and admins) can't take part.

A reward is earned only when our editors approve your suggestion: a title — or a new season of a listed title — that is Indian, mainly in Hindi, BL under our editorial definition, from the creator's official channel, available and playable in India, and suitable under our content policy.

One reward per title (and per title-season). The first suggestion that is approved earns it. If the title was already in our system before you suggested it, it's a duplicate and earns nothing. Approval is at our editors' discretion, and we never promise that any suggestion will be approved.

Rewards are never paid for watching, liking, subscribing to, commenting on or sharing anything on YouTube, or for bringing people to IndianBL. IndianBL is not affiliated with YouTube.

Current reward amounts are shown on the program page. We can change them, but only for approvals made after the change: a reward keeps the amount it was approved at.

A reward is pending for a hold period after approval, then becomes available to withdraw. During the hold we may reverse an approval that turns out to be a mistake — for example, a re-upload — and the reward is cancelled. After the hold we reverse only for fraud; that can take your balance below zero, in which case new rewards reduce the shortfall first and withdrawals pause until it is cleared.

Your balance is money IndianBL owes you. It can't be topped up, spent on IndianBL, transferred to anyone else, and it earns no interest.

You can withdraw once your available balance reaches the minimum shown on the program page. Payouts go only to a UPI ID in your own name. When you request a withdrawal, the amount is taken out of your available balance straight away. If we deny the request, if you cancel it before we start paying, or if the bank returns the transfer, the full amount is credited back.

Payouts are made by the IndianBL team by hand, once a week on the payout day shown on the program page. Requests made by the night before are paid that day. We aim to pay on time, but the timing is a target, not a guarantee — for example around bank holidays. Transfer fees are paid by IndianBL. You'll see the bank's transaction reference (UTR) in your history.

If you change your payout details, withdrawals pause for a short cooling-off period and we email your account address, to protect you if someone else gets into your account.

Rewards are your income and may be taxable; you are responsible for your own taxes. Rewards are not wages, and taking part in the program is not employment. We may ask for your PAN in the future, before raising reward limits.

• more than one account, or using someone else's payout details;
• suggesting re-uploads, clips or fan edits as if they were originals;
• bots, scripts or automated suggestions;
• arrangements with IndianBL staff to approve your suggestions;
• pen names that are abusive, use someone else's real name, impersonate a creator, cast member or IndianBL, or include contact details.

We may suspend your Scout account while we look into a problem; suggestions and withdrawals pause, and suggestions already sent are still reviewed. We may ban an account for serious or repeated breaches. Your balance is forfeited only where we establish fraud.

You can appeal a ban within 30 days by writing to hello@indianbl.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.

You can pause or leave the program at any time. Your available balance stays yours to withdraw after you leave.

If you delete your IndianBL account, we pay your whole available balance to the UPI ID on file — even if it is below the usual minimum — on the next payout day, and close the account once it is paid. Rewards still in their hold period are forfeited. If you have no UPI ID on file, you can add one first or choose to forfeit the balance. We keep payout records for the period the law requires, detached from your email.

We may change these terms or the program. Material changes need your acceptance before your next suggestion or withdrawal. If we end the program, we'll give 30 days' notice, decide the suggestions already sent, and you can still withdraw every available balance.

Scouts are paid for discovery work, not for anyone's film. A reward gives no rights over any content, and creators can still have any title removed from IndianBL through our usual process.

We collect what the program needs: your pen name and credit preference, your confirmations, your suggestions, and — only when you first withdraw — your legal name and UPI ID, which is encrypted.
